How You Can Know Christ

You can know God in a personal relationship and have the promise of heaven when you die. Because God loves you so much, He gives you the opportunity to respond through faith so you can go to Heaven when you die.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

The only way that God has given for us to know Him and have eternal life is through His Son Jesus.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 6:23 ...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

To begin a relationship with God today, and to know that you will live eternally with Him in Heaven, then you need to:

Believe that Jesus is the only way to God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Admit that you are a sinner and need forgiveness.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Turn away from your sin and surrender your life to Jesus Christ.

Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Ask Jesus to come into your life.

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

You can ask Jesus to come into your life and save you right now by sincerely praying this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross and rose again so that I could be forgiven and have eternal life. Please forgive my sins. I turn away from my sin and give my life to You. I ask You now to be the Savior and Lord of my life. Thank You for hearing my prayer and giving me Your gift in Jesus' name. Amen
